Itinerary
Arrive in Dalhousie via Pathankot or Dharamshala. After check-in at the hotel, spend the evening exploring Mall Road for local shopping and relaxing in the serene atmosphere.
Visit Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary for nature walks, explore St. John’s Church for its historical significance, and enjoy the stunning views at Khajjiar, often called Mini Switzerland.
Travel to Dharamshala (approximately 4-5 hours by road). After check-in at the hotel, visit McLeod Ganj and the Dalai Lama Temple in the evening to experience the spiritual energy.
Explore the famous Bhagsu Waterfall, visit the Tibetan Monastery, and enjoy strolling through the local market filled with Tibetan handicrafts and souvenirs.
Drive to Amritsar (approximately 6-7 hours). Upon arrival, visit the Golden Temple for the Palki Sahib Ceremony, a beautiful nightly ritual at the temple.
Morning visit to Golden Temple and Jallianwala Bagh to learn about the 1919 massacre. Explore the Partition Museum for insights into the Partition of India and visit Wagah Border in the evening for the Beating Retreat Ceremony.
After breakfast, check-out and proceed to Amritsar Railway Station/Airport for your onward journey.
