Itinerary
Arrive at Paro International Airport and transfer to Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital. After settling into your hotel, enjoy an evening visit to the Tashichho Dzong, a historical fortress and monastery. Here, you’ll get a first taste of Bhutanese culture and spirituality. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight stay in Thimphu.
Today, visit the Buddha Dordenma, one of the largest Buddha statues in the world, symbolizing peace and compassion. Explore the Memorial Chorten, a stupa built in memory of the third king, and the Changangkha Monastery. The day ends with a visit to the National Library and the Textile Museum to learn about Bhutan's spiritual and cultural heritage.
Drive to Paro and visit the iconic Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest). This sacred Buddhist site, perched on a cliff, offers stunning views of the valley. You’ll hike up to the monastery, immersing yourself in the spiritual atmosphere of the site. Return to your hotel in Paro for an overnight stay.
